Influence of bacterial lipopolysaccharide on the degradation of the components of the extracellular matrix of rat biceps femoris muscle during high fructose diet-induced metabolic syndrome

Metabolic syndrome is an epidemic of non-infectious origin, which associated with the consumption a large amount high-calorie food and sedentary lifestyle. It not excluded that bacterial lipopolysaccharides (LPS) may enter body during metabolic syndrome. The purpose this work to study combined effect lipopolysaccharide high fructose diet on concentration glycosaminoglycans their individual fractions, content free L-oxyproline sialic acids in rat biceps femoris muscle. Bacterial LPS was injected intraperitoneally at dose 0.4 μg/kg. modelled by using 20% solution as only source drinking water. In test group animals total increased 22.53%, heparin-heparan keratan-dermatan fraction concentrations raised 26.18 35.91%, but chondroitin did change compared control. 120.71 156.78%, respectively. Thus, diet, stimulation organism combination lead degradation glycoproteins proteoglycans intensify collagenolysis muscle rats.
